Ethereal

So my first post on this blog mentions the many amazing authors that I fell in love with. Because they are able to write such beautiful stories that allow me to get lost when I need it (which unfortunately happens a lot).

Addison Moore happens to be one of those authors. I went digging into my Kindle records, and I show that I purchased Ethereal in June 2011. That feels like for ever ago. I remember thinking, what the hell, why not? So, I jumped into this book, and I couldn't pull my self out of it. It was so freaking addicting. I couldn't get enough of Skyla and Logan, and how could I forget, Gage... MMM, if you're wondering who I root for, well I guess you have your answer.

I gave this book 5 stars because I did enjoy it at the time. Okay, so I kind of stalked the author. I searched her every where I could. In my defense, I kept checking in to see when the next book would be released. I'm the type of person, that no matter the book, I want that next book in the series. I don't want to wait for it.

Anyways, this was one of those first books that reminded me how much I enjoyed reading. I appreciate the effort and time that Addison put into her work. Because she was brave and willing to, I got to enjoy a really good book.

Rock Chick Rescue

So, we basically pick up where we left off in Rock Chicks, literally.
We meet Eddie (Totally HOT HISPANIC ALPHA MALE!!!) and Jet! This book is just as funny as the first one. There is as much action and adventure as there was in Rock Chicks. And yes, the girls do get in trouble, or I should say, trouble follows them! I mean, the title says it all!!!
I laughed and got mad several times in this book.
Again, this is one of those books where I can't help but read it in one sitting (Yes that is definitely possible for me).
I love the writing style that this author has. She does an amazing job.

Rock Chick

Freaking liked it so much that I read books 1 thru 7 and waiting on book 8...

I originally bought and read this book back in April 2012. I've read and re-read it SO many freaking times, that I have lost count. I pick it up whenever I get into a reading funk. And then I move on to the next book in the series and so on, until I've read all of the Rock Chicks.

This is one of those books where you can't help but laugh your ass off! Literally!!!

We go on an adventure with Indy Savage and Lee Freaking Nightingale who is the total and complete DEFINITION of a bad ass alpha male. I seriously can't get enough of these characters. They just completely crack me up.

I have seriously fallen in love with every single character in this book and in the other ones. And you know what, it's because of Kristen Ashley. She is such an amazing author. It's because of people like her who are able to have such an imagination and are willing to share it with us, that makes my life that much better.

I love to read. Like seriously. Some people might call it an addiction. I carry my Kindle Fire with me EVERY WHERE I go. And then there's the Kindle reading app on my phones. And you know what, I can proudly say that I own just about every single book that Kristen Ashley has published and I literally carry them with me ALL THE TIME!!!

Brutally Beautiful

Okay, so I picked up this book because I have basically read every other book by Christine Zolendz. As a writer, she is able to create worlds and stories where you can't help but be sucked into.
The beginning to this was, how do I put this? UMMMM... F***... Yeah. I think that totally sums it all up.
Both Samantha & Kade are just... I don't think that there is a way to explain them, unless you are willing to accept that they are F*ed up... Like HUGE...
But you know what? They work! And yes, they are screwed up, but they are good for each other. And that there is the beauty in this book.
I definitely LOVE a guy who has issues. Don't get me wrong, I love the heroes who are perfect and go all out to make it happen and who make it better for the heroine, but every now and then, I love a guy that is F*d up! And, we actually do get that in this book. The hero making it better for the heroine. So every one wins!!
And yes, this is one of the books that I totally discussed with my sister after we both read it! We don't usually do that unless a book is really good and we both REALLY liked it! I guess you can say that we are both screwed up like that!

Raw

Okay, So I admit it. I gave in and read this. How could I not when everyone and their mother seemed to be blogging and raving about it.
There were so many ARGHHH moments in this book.
There was a lot of sick and twisted Twitch parts that were pissing me off... But, being the dork that I am, I couldn't put it down.
I was anxious to find out who her stalker was and what his deal was. And then, when I found out WHY he was doing it, I couldn't help but chuckle. Yes, I said chuckle... (Sick of me, right?) ;)
That ending pissed me the HELL out... I mean like completely pissed me off. As soon as I hit the last page on my Kindle, I dropped it and picked up my phone and texted my sister the following: "I finished Raw, and all I have to say is HMMMMM........." Yes, I texted that...
I don't know if I'm excited or anxious to read the next book in this series...
Either way, I did enjoy this book. It did bring out some emotions out of me, which is exactly what I look for in a book!!

Archer's Voice

This is one of those books that was amazingly and beautifully written!!!

I was just, wow. I don't even know how to express the many emotions that this book brought out of me. I felt pain, sadness and even happiness all at the same time.
The beginning of the book immediately gave me crappy feelings. I knew that something wasn't right... I mean, for a young child as Archer to KNOW that something isn't right, and that he HAS to have fear, is just WRONG.
Beautiful silent Archer! You are just one amazing man that excels at everything that you do. I was so proud of him, and his achievements. To be willing to trust and love someone... That has to be hard, but you did it.
Then you have Bree, who has literally gone through HELL. She experienced terrible trials that made her pick up and move her life to a place that easily brought her peace and brought her to Archer. She was extremely persistent. You do have to give the girl credit, because she knew what she wanted and she wouldn't give up. You go girl!
I loved how both characters literally grew... They both brought the best out of each other. Their relationship felt right. From the very first moment that they met on the sidewalk, as he helps her pick up her Almond Joys (that was just too cute), there was something there. As a reader, you can FEEL it, which is freaking awesome.
Even after I put the book down, I couldn't stop thinking about the characters. There were some that I did not appreciate. And there were others that I totally did.
