Thoughts...

So, I've always enjoyed reading. Ever since I could remember and I was a little girl, I use to lock my self up in my room and get lost in a book or two. I would literally finish a book in 1 day if I was in the mood for it. I kind of lost a little bit of interest as I grew up (I think it had to do more with me not finding something that would interest me). Until 4 1/2 years ago, my sister-in-law introduced me to the now famous Stephanie Meyers and the Twilight Saga. I literally swallowed up all of those books. I couldn't get enough of just one. I remembered that I LOVED reading paranormal books... So, I downloaded the Kindle App on my phone and started searching for books that were somewhat similar to what I had been reading. That's how I found Amanda Hocking and her many series. Her first book that I read was My Blood Approves. Again, I couldn't get enough of just one, so I had to go searching for the next one. Then I found Addison Moore and her Celestra Series. After her came Samantha Young, Tammy Blackwell, Quinn Loftis (one of my ALL TIME favorite authors), Abbi Glines & M. Leighton. I soon realized that all these ladies had something in common. They were all INDIE Authors... I remember turning to my husband and saying, "Hey Babe, can you believe this? They write and publish their own books!!!" How amazing is that!!!
2 years later, a Kindle App on my iPhone, a Kindle App on my Galaxy S2, a Kindle Fire and a Kindle App on my Dell Laptop, you will be able to find hundreds of books by these amazing ladies. Not just them, but I discovered many more! I didn't just stick with Paranormal. I moved on to Mature Adult, Young Adult and other things...
I hope that with this blog, I can help you find the many amazing books that I have read. I LOVE getting lost in a book. I love that I get to meet new people with different careers, education and goals in life.
